I have been making stained glass panels since I learned the craft in 1983 in the art community of Salt Lake City. I have been creating for my gallery portfolio and for commissions since returning to Huntsville in 2000. I am so excited to be a part of Lowe Mill Art & Entertainment Center as I think it is just what our town needs. I love to sketch people, paint landscapes and construct in arrt glass and I love inspiring others to try “art” out too. This summer I will have several classes offered at my studio on the 3rd floor of Lowe Mill. Let me know your interests for glass construction and surface applications. I have experience in sand-blasting (etching), engraving (carving), glass painting and my favorite for construction is the Tiffany style of copper-foil. My relationship and experience in rivers in Utah and Wyoming and skiing through deep snow drifts in snow basins as I cross-country skied the back country of the upper elevations near Snowbird, Alta and Park City has taught me to go with the flow and to listen to my medium. Sometimes my best pieces are by accident.
