Workshop: The Basics of Independent film production

All you film/movie buffs out there, listen up! If you have ever wanted to know more about the ins and outs of filmmaking, then this is the workshop for you. The Alabama Filmmaker’s Co-op presents a monthly workshop that focuses on a different topic from story development and scriptwriting to production, planning, shooting, lighting, sound, directing and editing. The Alabama Filmmaker’s Co-op was established in 1977 with the mission of supporting film education in the North Alabama community.

 Cost: FREE, FREE, FREE!

 When: The first Sunday of each month at 2p.m. (check your calendar)

 Where: In the Film Co-op studio in the Flying Monkey Arts Center, second floor of the beautiful, historic Lowe Mill.
