Welcome to Denise Onwere Gallery— @ Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment, Studio 314. Denise Onwere was born in Los Angeles (California). At the early age of 17, she traveled to Huntsville Alabama to study Social Work and settled down in Huntsville. Denise has been creating feelings with art for as long as she can remember, but employment in a totally unrelated field and other outside influences caused her to give up doing any form of artwork for many years. The battle between a structured abyss-style life and a creative free-thinking free-flying ever-living one rages on and displays within her paintings. "Painting is something I must do, and it is a major part of my life. I love all forms of painting and abstract art. I have no formal training, but my artwork speaks for itself." |
