Squeaking Tribe Studio offers a curiously intimate venue for performance or workshops by local and visiting artists.
Anna Sue Courtney, arts instigator, lifetime puppeteer and director of Squeaking Tribe, is a member of Puppeteers of America, the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, Ga. and UNIMA-USA. Anna Sue performs and conducts workshops throughout the southeast and teaches classes for young people at Huntsville Museum of Art.
Anna Sue Courtney hosted 1210 Meridian St. Studio and Performance Space for fifteen years and is a founding member of Flying Monkey Arts, an artists collective with studios and performance space on the second floor of historic Lowe Mill.
