Calvin Hubbard is a native of Dallas, Texas.  He is by profession an accomplished sculptor, potter, painter and educator.

Hubbard completed his undergraduate studies in Art at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas; Southern University at Houston, Texas and the Aspen School of Contemporary Art at Aspen, Colorado.  He received his Master of Art degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York.

Hubbard has owed and operated Turtle Pottery Studio and Gallery for the last 26 years.  His studio was previously located in Rochester, NY ,  Hubbard has now relocated his studio to the Huntsville area.

Calvin specializes in teaching pottery and sculpture to children and adults. Hubbard is available for workshops, lectures and demonstrations using clay, wood, and acrylics.
