From the artist:
“Art is my platform to develop my creative mind”
“There is no short cut”
“The elements for success are: Creativity, Discipline and patients”
I have passion for both science and art. I believe art is a good cross training for scientists and engineers. A great scientist and/or engineer requires a creative mind in order to be above and beyond. They can invent revolutionary theory and products and make this world a better place.
I also believe that science is a good cross training for artist. I retired from NASA. My scientific training has given me the discipline and patients to pursue a successful artist.
I found my niche for art when I was 5 years old, anything can be a good subject to draw and/or paint. When I was little, a sheet of paper and a pencil can keep me happy for a long time. The best joy is to see a blank sheet of paper turning into an extraordinary piece of art design.
September 11, 2001- terrorist attached world trade centers. This attack had shocked the world and changed many people’s lives. I said to myself, I do not even know if I am going to be here tomorrow or not. If I have a passion, and I want to do something about it. The time to start is now. I started taking seriously about my art work.
I encourage you to find your passion, and if you want to do something about it, the time to start is NOW.
