This series gives the public a chance to meet and interact with visiting artists and discuss their work with them as it is on display and available for purchase. Come out, enjoy a pleasant evening and maybe you’ll find that special piece of art that speaks to you!
From the artist:
“The Dance” is a series of large format abstract oil paintings, some watercolours and drawings, that have music in its base core and as main inspiration. The principles of music applied to paint. Expression, movement, energy, rhythmic patterns, rich bass tones, medium organic flows and sharp, crystal colourful high notes. 5 years later I return to Lowe Mill and to America, where I first encountered the love for abstract painting and where the language discovered there, the mosaic brush marks, a sort of geometric abstract expressionism, developed since, will now come full circle, and is, I hope, recognisable as a trademark.
I hope through my abstract landscapes to submerge you in color, allow time to come still, and that you allow yourself to be still in front of these works and let their melodies transport you. This is my counter culture to the maddening speed of the world: Through my dance to offer you stillness. “from caos to order
