This exhibition round includes works by Traniesa “TC” Caldwell which will be on view in the Third Floor East Gallery from February 27 – April 20 2019.
From the artist:
My goal is to tell real stories from people in my communities. I want to provide a platform for marginalized voices. These people are real, and they deserve to be visible. Everything we see on TV isn’t real, but the grandmother who has worked until her body couldn’t handle it anymore is very real. By sharing real narratives, we can create dialogue. Dialogue creates actions. Actions create change.
