Join us to meet artist Brian Bohanan and hear him talk about his Third Floor East Gallery exhibit, “The Tree Man’s Forest.” The event is free to attend. Brian will talk about his work and his process as well as answer questions about the exhibition.

From the artist:

To create works of art using materials otherwise discarded energizes me to turn life into something that has died. The spark began in my childhood from the logging practices in the one rural area I grew up in. Each “tree of life” or the memories of the what was just a small town are renewing themes of my work. I feel that each tree I paint on unwanted materials brings the trees I have known back to life. It gives me great joy when the vision calls me to this and I strive to achieve a high percentage of recycled materials in each and every piece.
About the artist:
I have travelled the art show circuit for over ten years. These shows have allowed me to share my vision and speak through my works on a very personal level to thousands of people. My belief is art is a window to the soul.  I currently live in Calera Alabama with my wife and children and could not do this without their support and understanding. I hope my work speaks to you!
