Unpredictable Alabama weather got in the way of our first celebration of Pi Day (3/14), so we’ve moved it to the second nerdiest day of the year – May 4th!
Come join us in celebration of the beauty and wonder of π!
Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and to eat Pie.

Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, Huntsville STEAM Works, and ADTRAN are excited to present Pi Day 2019. Come join us at the Huntsville STEAM Works studio 1039 and throughout Lowe Mill A&E, for a variety of hands-on STEAM activities and contests; including a Pi recitation contest, pie baking contest, pie eating contest, and pi/pie art contest. Thanks to ADTRAN this event is free to the public. Kids bring your adults! Adults bring yourselves! Together let’s celebrate Pi!
