Welcome to Huntsville STEAM Works, an Alabama nonprofit focused on education through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Our official mission is to foster creativity and innovation through education and technology. Or, as we like to say: “STEAM-powered Education, Innovation, and Fun!” We support a community makerspace located within Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, and provide support services and programs to schools, students, teachers, and community members throughout North Alabama.

A big part of our mission at Huntsville STEAM Works centers around our outreach efforts. We’re a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting our community. When you participate in Huntsville STEAM Works by becoming a member, participating in
a workshop, camp, class, or event, you are partnering with us in continued and broader support
of our efforts within the community.

These efforts include:
● Coach support for Title I School FIRST LEGO League Teams
● STEM Education program for the Kate Duncan Smith DAR School, in cooperation with
generous support from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
● Instruction at KTECH, in cooperation with Kids to Love.
● Santa’s Lab, a seasonal program that brings customized gifts to underprivileged area
youth. Items are made by volunteers in our lab.
● And more…

We welcome learning about new outreach opportunities, as well as corporate donations,
organizational partnerships, and individual donations. Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
