“My passion for painting women is apparent in the images of my work. I want people to see images of strong, sassy, and whimsical women in my work. I like to exaggerate the bodies of my figures. Sometimes elongating the arms, hands, necks, and legs of ‘my ladies.’ I hope people will create a story of their own when they view the woman in the different settings in which I place them on the canvas.

Although I enjoy painting in many different mediums and mixed media, my main focuse of medium is working with oil paint as I find it forgiving and beautiful when using bold, juicy, direct strokes in the images I create. I can’t imagine my life without art. My intention is to make people happy and enjoy looking at my work. Also, I want to continue to learn and improve as I continue my journey as a painter.”
